The Vitamix container is an oversized, 64-ounce capacity vessel made from Eastman Tritan copolyester material, which is virtually unbreakable, more chemical resistant, and BPA-free. This see-through, no-drip spout container allows you to witness the processing from start to finish. It features raised calibrations for easily measuring ingredients in ounces, cups, or metrics. The container includes a wet blade and a 2-part locking lid designed for easy removal.
The hardened stainless steel blades within the container are capable of breaking down food and ice, resulting in consistently smooth results. The lid has a removable plug marked with measurements, enabling you to add ingredients while processing. The spill-proof lid vents to allow hot or cold food to expand and contract. The container also boasts a soft-grip handle for a comfortable, non-slip grasp.
This container is designed to efficiently rotate large quantities back to the blades, resulting in faster and smoother blends. The blades in the Vitamix container can reach speeds fast enough to create friction heat, bringing cold ingredients to steaming hot in about six minutes. With a drop of dish soap and warm water, the Vitamix machine can clean itself in 30 to 60 seconds.
The size and shape of the 64-ounce container make it ideal for blending medium to large batches. This container can be used with all full-size Classic C-Series Vitamix blenders only (Ascent and Venturist Series are not compatible).
Every angle of the Vitamix container is designed to create a uniquely controlled vortex, systematically folding ingredients back to the blades for faster and smoother blends. Every Vitamix container is clearly marked with ounce and cup measurements, and even the lid plug has a 2-ounce measurement line.
The vented lid and lid plug allow you to bring dishes to hot serving temperatures right in the container, or add ingredients while blending to adjust the texture. What comes in the box is the Classic 64-ounce Container and the Classic Tamper.
